THE NEXT STAGE
A future sale may be part of your retirement plan, but its timing and value are uncertain. We help you consider how personal savings, super and investments could fit alongside the business, while allowing for its cash needs and your family’s priorities.

FOUR CONNECTED DECISIONS
A useful plan brings your business and personal finances into the same conversation, without assuming there is one right way to proceed.
01
Consider what the business needs to retain and what may be available to support your personal goals. Decisions about drawing or distributing profits should be considered with your accountant.
02
Explore how super and investments outside the business may contribute to future income, rather than relying on the sale alone.
03
The ownership and structure of investments may affect tax, flexibility and exposure to business or legal risks. Willow Wealth Partners can coordinate investment advice with your accountant and lawyer.
04
Review the balance between reinvesting, personal wealth and retirement goals when the business grows, ownership changes or your timeline shifts.
WILLOW WEALTH PARTNERS’ ROLE
Our role is to connect your personal goals with decisions about cash flow, super, investments and retirement. We consider the business as part of your financial position and help you understand the trade-offs, with priorities that can be reviewed as circumstances change.
You stay focused on running the business. Willow Wealth Partners helps keep your personal financial plan in view.
WEALTH STRUCTURE
Your accountant advises on tax, accounts and business structures; your lawyer advises on legal arrangements and obligations. We coordinate your personal financial plan with their specialist advice where needed. Business valuations and sale negotiations require the relevant specialists.
A CONSIDERED FIRST STEP
We begin with a focused conversation about your situation. If you decide to proceed after seeing the proposed scope and fees, a goals and education session is followed by formal advice. Implementation begins only after you sign off on that advice.
01
After you book, we send a questionnaire about your goals and financial position. A summary of business interests, personal assets, debts and super, plus any intended change in ownership or work, helps frame the first conversation.
02
In the complimentary first meeting, we discuss what you are looking for, where financial advice may help and whether it is needed.
03
After the meeting, we send a proposal outlining the intended services and fees. You decide whether to proceed.
RECOGNISED PRACTICE
